E’s Avon Journey: Independence with Style
Since 2015, You First Support Services have proudly walked beside me in my journey of living independently with 24-hour support in my own home. With their help, I’ve not only found stability and confidence I’ve also discovered my voice as a Makeup Community Representative for Avon.
Having a job that I love has given me a real sense of purpose. I get scheduled time on my own, and I use it to focus on my Avon business. I enjoy meeting customers, chatting through the latest products, and helping people feel good about themselves—while keeping fit with every delivery!
My support team plays a big part in helping me succeed:
- They help me enter orders onto the Avon website.
- They support me in putting order forms into my books, keeping everything tidy and professional.
- Sometimes they join me on my Avon round—but other times I go out independently, which makes me proud.
- Some staff even order from me themselves! My customers always look forward to seeing me and browsing the newest catalogues.
- They guide me in counting the money accurately and filling out payment slips, so everything adds up perfectly.
What I love most is the social side: being out in the community, connecting with people, and knowing they trust me with their orders. Every smile, every hello, and every delivery reminds me how far I’ve come and that I’m capable of so much more.
